FDFF v katalogu slo. kratkih filmov

Slovenski filmski center je izdal prvi katalog slovenskih kratkih filmov. V njega so uvrstili tudi dva naša filma Last Lunch iz leta 2011 in Missing The Moment iz leta 2012.

Katalog bodo predstavniki Slovenskega filmskega centera delil in uporabljali za promocijo slovenskega kratkega filma na večjih mednarodnih filmskih festivalih kot so mednarodni festival kratega filma v Clermont Ferrandu, Berlinale in Festival de Cannes, kjer je Slovenija prisotna na ti. filmski tržnicah. Slovenian film centre prepared the first Slovenian short film catalogue in which you can also find two of our films Last Lunch from 2011 and Missing the Moment from 2012.

Representatives of Slovenian film centre will present the new catalogue at various big international film festivals like the short film festival in Clermont Ferrand, Berlinale and Festival de Cannes where Slovenia has representational booths at the film Markets. Missing the Moment in Columbia

Missing the Moment potuje v Kolumbijo. Dobili smo povabilo v tekmovalni del festivala Zinema Zombie Fest 2013. Festival bo potekal med 6 in 13 v glavnem in največjem mestu Kolumbije, Bogoti. Kot zgleda je Nejc prepričal festivalskega selektorja s svojo "zombi" sceno.

Missing the Moment is traveling to Columbia. We got the invitation to take part in the official competition of Zinema Zombie Fest Film Festival. The festival will take place in Bogota, the capitol of Columbia. As it look Nejc did a great job and convinced the selector of the festival with his "zombie" scene.

Filmski večer na FERI

Naši filmi in filmi nekaterih naših delavničarjev se bodo predvajali v okviru Filmskih večerov na FERI, ki ga organizira Inštitut za Medijske komunikacije na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko, računalništvo in informatiko v Mariboru. Prvo predvajanje bo že v sredo, 16.10.2013 ob 19. uri na katerem se bosta predvajala filma Missing the Moment in dokumentarec o snemanju le tega imenovan "Behind the Moment". Predvajanja se bo udeležila tudi ekipa. Ostale termine lahko preverite tukaj ali na uradni FB strani filmskih večerov. Se vidimo na FERI! :)

Our films and some of the films that were made during our film workshops will be presented at the "Film evenings at FERI" which are organised by the institute for Media Communication at the Faculty for electrical engineering and computer sciences in Maribor. The first screening will take place on Wednesday the 16th of October at 19h. The screening will feature our film Missing the Moment and also the making of documentary of this film called Behind the Moment. The crew of the film will also be present to answer your questions. Missing the Moment @ Luksuz&Tuzla FF

Še dva nova mednarodna festivala na poti film Missing the Moment. Prvi je domači in nas spremlja že vse od naših začetkov. To je festival "Luksuz, festival poceni filma", ki ga oraganizira letos z Vesno za poseben dosežke na področju filma nagrajena organizacija Luksuz produkcija oz. DZMP Krško. Festival bo potekal med 11 in 12.10.2013

Drugi festival pa naš film popelje v BiH, kjer bo potekal 2. Tuzla film festival (FB). Missing the Moment je tudi tukaj uvrščen v tekmovalni del festivala. Festival bo potekal med 18. in 22.09.2013.

Program obeh festivalov je zelo pester in zelo smo veseli, da smo del njih. Več o programu obeh si preberite na urandih spletnih straneh.

Another two international festivals on the festival route of our film Missing the Moment. The first one is a to us very well know festival wich is a part of our story from the beginning. That is the "Luksuz film festival" which is organised by the this year national award Vesna for special achievements in film awarded organisation Luksuz produkcija (DZMP Krško). It will take place between 11th and 12th of Oktober 2013.

The second festival takes our film to BiH, where the 2nd Tuzla Film Festival (FB)will take place. Here also the film was selected for the official competition. It will take place from 18th to 22nd of September 2013.

Filmi in vino tudi letos

Letos se je ponovno eden izmed naših filmov uvrstil v program festivala fantastičnega filma in vina Grossmann, ki se je odvijal med 15. in 20 julijem 2013, v Ljutomeru. Tokrat se je na platnu znašel Missing the Moment, ki je bil predstavljen med številnimi drugimi neodvisnimi filmi iz ex-Yu regije v programu »Panonsko podzemlje«.

Grossmannski festival fantastičnega filma in vina bi lahko vzeli kar za svojega, saj je skoraj vsako leto tamkajšnji publiki predstavljen kakšen izmed naših filmov:

Lani sta se na platnu odvrtela animiran film Last Lunch (Zadnje kosilo) in film posnet z mobilnim telefonom Kriza. Leta 2011 sta bila prav tako prikazana dva filma in sicer komični triler Neskončni vozel ter eksperimentalna animacija Ink man. Animiran film Opekozlagalec se je v Ljutomeru znašel leta 2010, pred njim pa še Prehranjevalna veriga leta 2008 ter Hitrost ubija, ki je bil uvrščen na prvo edicijo festivala leta 2005.

Grossmann fantastic film and wine festival, held from 15th till 20th of July 2013 in Ljutomer, Slovenia, celebrated its 9th edition this year. Beside whole range of sci-fi and horror films on the program, you could find as well our short drama from 2012, Missing the Moment. Film was selected among other independent films from ex-Yu for "Panonia underground".

This is not the first year one of our films was selected and screened at Grossmann fantastic film and wine festival. There is quite a history:

Last year animated film Last Lunch and Crisis, film shoot on mobile phone, were screened. Year before audience could enjoy our comic thriller Neverending knot and experimental rotoscope animation Ink man. Animated film Brickloader was screened in 2010 and Food chain in 2008. Stop-motion animation Speed kills, which is our third project we ever made, was screened at first edition of Grossmann fantastic film and wine festival in 2005.

Missing the Moment @ K3

Mednarodni festival kratkega filma K3 poteka v treh delih; in sicer v avstrijskem Beljaku, italijanskem Vidmu ter Ljubljani. Na Slovenski del festivala je bilo uvrščenih 10 filmov, med njimi tudi naš Missing the Moment. Projekcijo filmov, ki se je odvila 26. junija v ljubljanskem Kinodvoru, je dopolnjevala okrogla miza na temo »perspektive slovenskega kratkega filma«, na kateri so sodelovali Miha Knific, Andraž Pöschl, Jelka Stergel. Predstavljeni so bili tudi vsi avtorji izbranih filmov. Naš film in filmsko društvo Film Factory na splošno sta predstavila Mojca in Mitja. Po napeti debati je na koncu je sledilo neformalno druženje s filmskimi kolegi.

International short film festival K3 is composed from three parts; Austrian part in Villach, Italian part in Udine and Slovenian part in Ljubljana. There were 10 film selected for the Slovenian part and one of them is our short film Missing the Moment directed by Mitja Mlakar. A panel discussion about perspective of Slovenian short film followed the screening on 26th June 2013 in Kinodvor, Ljubljana. Main speakers were Miha Knific, Andraž Pöschl and Jelka Stergel. Authors of selected films were presented as well. Mitja and Mojca did the good job presenting our film and our film association Film Factory. An informal mingling with fellow filmmaking colleagues followed the exciting discussion panel.

Brda smo mladi

“Brda smo mladi“ je štiridnevni dogodek namenjen vsem mladim, tudi tistim mladim po srcu. Od 24. do 27. maja 2013 je bilo Šmartno pri Brdih glasbeno, plesno, filmsko in ustvarjalno obarvano. K popestritvi filmskega programa smo prispevali tudi mi; tako so si obiskovalci, 24. maja 2013 v Hiši kulture v Šmartnem v Brdih, med pestrim filmskim programom, lahko ogledali tudi naš Šah mat, Neskončni vozel in Missing the Moment. Projekcije se žal nismo uspeli udeležiti, smo pa izvedeli, da se je občinstvo zelo vživelo v filme, tako da so se lahko filmsko zadovoljeni naslednji dan odpravili na degustacijo vin na dan odprtih kleti. »Brda smo mladi« (Brda are youth) is a four day long event dedicated to youth and everyone young by heart. From 24th till 27th of May 2013 Šmartno pri Brdih was full of dance, music, film and creativity. Along many films, there were also three of our films in screening program; Šah mat (Checkmate), Neskončni vozel (Neverending knot) and Missing the Moment. Premiere of Missing The Moment

Premiera je za nami! Celoten večer, ki ga je povezoval Luka Marčetič, je dodobra navdušil in nasmejal publiko. Po projekciji filma Missing the Moment smo si lahko ogledali še making of in prisluhnili pogovoru z ustvarjalci, kjer smo med drugim izdali od kod ideja za film, kako je potekalo snemanje seks scene in zakaj se je Nives pred snemanjem postrigla. Program je zaključila projekcija filma, ki je nastal na eni izmed naših filmskih delavnic Julija in Romeo, animiranega filma Last Lunch ter filma posnetega z mobilnim telefonom Kriza. Urednemu delu je sledilo druženje ob vinih Ščurek in pijačami pivovarne Laško. Večer smo zaključili ob ritmih filmske glasbe v klubu Rožmarin.

Za tiste ki so zamudili trenutek pa pod besedilom objavljamo nekaj utrinkov.

Še enkrat bi se radi zahavalili celotni ekipi filma. Radi bi se zahvalili tudi vsem, ki ste nam pomagali pri pripravi premiere: Saša Bach, Janja Pernek, Anja Patekar, Rok Deželak, Tjaša Frumen, Ines Kožuhar, Luka Marcetič, Sami Rahim, Aljaž Tepina, Anja Jurše, Ivan Stanojevič, Rene Puhar, Daniel... brez vaše pomoči premiere ne bi izpeljali tako uspešno. Premiere is behind us! The audience really enjoyed the film and the whole program, moderated by Luka Marčetič, which made them laugh again and again. They left the screening hall full of good impressions and feelings. The screening of the film Missing the Moment was followed by the “Making of” and debate with the film crew. We revealed where the idea for the film comes from, how it was on the set of the sex scene and why Nives cut of her hair before shooting started. The program ended with the screening of Julia and Romeo, film made by students at one our film workshops, animated film Last Lunch and film shoot with mobile phone Crisis (Kriza). After the official program the guests were invited to join us in the lobby of Udarnik and enjoy the evening with glass of Ščurek wine and drinks from pivovarna Laško. Everything ended in club Rožmarin where we danced to the sound of film music all night long.

Tonight do not Miss The Moment

Le nekaj ur nas še loči do premiere filma Missing the Moment, ki bo ob 20. uri v mariborskem kinu Udarnik. Po projekciji filma bo sledil še »making of« in pogovor z ustvarjalci. Ob koncu uradnega programa, ki ga bo povezoval Luka Marcetič, pa vas vabimo na sproščeno druženje s filmsko ekipo ob kozarcu vina Ščurek in raznovrstnih pijač Pivovarne Laško. MTM - Peter's room

Produkcija filma Missing the Moment je bil za nas nov izziv, še posebej na področju posebnih efektov, maske in scenografije. Ena izmed scenografsko zahtevnejših scen je bila Petrova soba. Sceno Petrove sobe smo postavili pri Tjaši doma, kjer smo morali premakniti skoraj vse kose pohištva, da smo dosegli želen izgled sobe. Sobo smo nato opremili z rekviziti; petrovimi umetninami, njegovimi osebnimi predmeti, oblekami, itd. Petrove umetnine nam je priskrbela scenografinja Mojca Breg, ki nam je prav tako pomagala pri postavitvi scene. Glede na to da je Missing the Moment kratki film, v njem lahko opazite številne različne obleke oz. kostume. Tako Peter, kot punca v rdečem, sta imela različne kostume v različnih scenah, od uradnih oblek, do sexy spodnjega perila. Spodaj si lahko pogledate kratek video o tem kako smo Tjašino sobo spremenili v Petrovo sobo. O tem kako so potekali posamezni snemalni dnevi in kaj vse se je med snemanjem doagjalo na setu, vam razkrijemo po premieri filma.

Every new project is a challenge for us. Production of short fiction film Missing the Moment was no exception, especially in the field of scenography, special effects and make-up. We shoot »Peter's room« at Tjaša's home. We spend one full day to rearrange the furniture and all props to achieve our desired vision of the set. Our scenographer Mojca Breg helped us with the set design and she provided us with Peter's paintings as well. Missing the Moment is a short film, but you can see a lots of different costumes in it. Peter, as well as girl in red, have a variety of different costumes, from formal suit, to sexy Lingerie. Below you can see a time-lapse of how Tjaša's room was converted into Peter's room. After the premiere we will reveal making of secrets. Stay tuned.

MTM - Meet the Cast

Naš glavni protagonist Peter je mlad talentirani umetnik, ujet v času, ki je neizprosen. Zaradi pritiskov iz okolice je zelo obremenjen z razpletom dogodkov, ki so pomembni za njegovo kariero. Ujet je v trenutku prihodnosti in ne more izživeti sedanjosti. Petra je upodobil Nejc Birsa.

Punco v rdečem, ki spremeni Petrovo življenje, je igrala Nives Brauner. Pretvorba Nives v njen lik je zahteval kar veliko truda za Mojco Škof in Kristjana, saj je Nives v času snemanja imela kratke lase, v scenariju pa je bila zamišljeno dekle z dolgimi lasmi.

V filmu je vlogo dekana umetniške fakultete zaigral Bojan Petek.

Kot statisti se v filmu pojavijo tudi Ines Cerkvenčič, Maja Žigart, Robert Fišer, Bojan Klavžar, Magdalena Veleski, Simon Komar in David Zakelšek. Ker smo pri nekaterih scenah potrebovali veliko število mimoidočih, se kot statisti v filmu pojavijo tudi člani filmske ekipe. Ob tej priložnosti bi se radi zahvalili vsem sodelujočim, ki so si vzeli čas in brez plačila bili pripravljeni sodelovati in pomagati pri projektu.

Our main protagonist Peter, is a young talented artist, caught in inexorable time. He is worrying about development of the events which are important to his career, because of the pressures from outside world. He is caught in moment in future and cannot experience life in present. We casted Nejc Birsa for the role of Peter.

Nives Brauner played the role of Girl in red who changes Peter’s life. But transformation of Nives into her character took a lot of energy and time for our makeup artist Mojca Škof and hairstylist Kristjan. Nives cut of her long hair only few weeks before shooting and we needed long haired girl.

Bojan Petek took the role of art school dean. He was just perfect for the role.

Due to higher production value of the film, we had a bunch of extras as well. Ines Cerkvenčič, Maja Žigart, Robert Fišer, Bojan Klavžar, Magdalena Veleski, Simon Komar and David Zakelšek all helped us to create our film world look much crowded. But they were just not enough sometimes. Sometimes shooting crew members walked in front of the camera as well. We would like to use this opritunity to thank all of you, who volunterly helped us bringing this motion picture to life.

MTM - Meet The Team

Pri ustvarjanju kratkega filma Missing the Moment je sodelovalo kar nekaj ljudi. Jedro ekipe sestavljamo Mitja Mlakar – režiser, scenarist, montažer in VFX, Mojca Pernat – producentka in organizatorica snemanja ter Miha Šubic – asistent režije in montaže.

Pri pripravah in na snemanju pa so nam pomagali še številni sodelavci. Z nekaterimi smo že dolgoročni sodelavci, z drugimi smo sodelovali prvič. Vsekakor je bilo sodelovanje z vsemi zelo zanimivo in zabavno.

Mojca Škof je poskrbela za masko, Kristjan Skamljič pa za frizure, še posebaj velko dela pa je imel z lasuljo. Ja prav ste prebrali lasuljo. O čem govorimo boste lahko prebrali v naslednjih postih. Z njima smo sodelovali že pri preteklih projektih in smo jih z veseljem ponovno povabili k sodelovanju. Tudi tokrat sta odlično opravila svojo nalogo, ki ni bila preprosta.

Pomemben del ekipe sta bili tudi naša scenograifinja Mojca Breg, ki je okrasila lepo in polno detajlov sobo našega glavnega protagonista in naša kostumografinja Tjaša Frumen, ki je med drugim poskrbela za sexy outfit.

“On set "photography” in “making of” material, ki ga boste lahko premierno videli v soboto pa so zagotovili objektivi in kamere naših Makingoffovcev Urške Drofelnik, Roka Deželak in Boštjana Selinšeka.

In nenazadnje to odlično glasbo, ki ponovno doda še en sloj temu filmu, je posebaj za fim napisal naš komponist Tim Žibrat.

Quite a few people participated in creating of the short fiction film Missing the Moment. Members of the core team are; Mitja Mlakar – director, screenwriter, editor and VFX artist, Mojca Pernat – producer and organizer of the shooting and Miha Šubic – assistant director and editor.

We joined forces with bunch of other creative and talented people which all took part in the creation of the film. We already collaborated with some of them before. But we also worked with some of them for the first time and all of us enjoyed the collaboration. In any case, the cooperation with all of them was interesting and fun.

Mojca Škof was in charge of the make-up, Kristjan Skamljič worked on the hairstyles and had a hard time especially with working with a wig. Yes a wig. What we are talking about you will see in future blogs. A vital part of the team were also our set designer Mojca Breg, who decorated the beautiful and full of details room of our main character Peter and Tjaša Frumen who among other things created the sexy costumes.

On set photography and making of material which you will have the opportunity to see for the first time on Saturday, was provided by our "making-of girl and guys" Urška Drofelnik, Rok Deželak and Boštjan Selinšek.

And last but not least the fantastic music which underlays jet another layer to our film was made by our music composer Tim Žibrat.

MTM - From Idea to Premiere

Priprave na premiero kratkega igranega filma Missing the Moment, ki bo 23.02.2013 v mariborskem kinu Udarnik, so že v polnem teku. Film pa ima za sabo že kar nekaj svoje poti; prvič je bil predstavljen na Short Film Cornerju Cannskega filmskega festivala, predvajan pa je bil tudi na 15. festivalu slovenskega filma v Portorožu. Kako je bil film sprejet na festivalih, si lahko preberete v prejšnjih objavah na našem blogu.

Ker se premiera filma bliža, smo se odločili, da vam razkrijemo pot filma; od ideje do premiere. Najprej vam bomo razkrili kako so potekale priprave na snemanje, po premieri pa še kako je potekalo snemanje, ki se je odvijalo v marcu 2012. Film je dolg 10 minut, snemalnih dni pa je pa bilo zaradi številnih lokacij in posebnih efektov kar 8. Kdo je stal pred in kdo za kamero ter kako so potekale priprave in snemanje, sledi v prihodnjih objavah.

The preparations for the premiere of the short fiction film Missing the Moment which will be held on 23rd of March 2013 at 20.00 in cinema Udarnik, Maribor are in full swing. The film has already some part of it’s journey behind it. For the fist time it was presented at Short Film Corner at Cannes Film Festival last year. It was also screened at 15th festival of Slovenian film in Portorož, Slovenia. You can read about film’s festival success on our previous blog posts.

The premiere is just days ahead and we decided to reveal the journey of the film; from idea to premiere. Firstly we will expose film’s pre-production. After the premiere we will post some blog posts about shooting. Film is 10 minutes long and we had 8 shooting days. This is because of various shooting locations and special visual effects which appear in the film. Premiera filma Missing The Moment

Po številnih festivalskih predvajanjih se bo kratki igrani film Missing the Moment končno predstavil širši javnosti. Film, ki je svojo festivalsko premiero doživel na Short film Cornerju Cannskega filmskega festivala, se bo prvič na ne-festivalskem platnu pojavil v soboto, 23. marca 2013, ob 20.00 uri, v mariborskem kinu Udarnik. Projekciji bo sledil pogovor z igralci in ustvarjalci ter dodaten program, ki bo zaokrožil filmski večer in zadovoljil še tako zahtevne cineaste. Po prireditvi bo sledilo sproščeno druženje z ustvarjalci, igralci, obiskovalci, cineasti, kulturniki in vsemi, ki se nam bodo 23. marca pridružili v kinu Udarnik.

After successful screenings at various film festivals, our short fiction film Missing the Moment will finally premiere for wide audience on Saturday, 23rd of March 2013, at 20.00 in cinema Udarnik in Maribor. The film had its world wide festival premiere at last years Festival de Cannes Short film corner. A talk with authors and actors will follow the screening, as well as short making of and some bonus film program which will complete our movie night. After the main program, you are kindly invited for a drink in cinema lobby and to chat with authors, actors, cineasts, cinefiles and all other who will join us on this lovely evening.

Missing the Moment @ Filofest 2012

Z veseljem vam sporočamo, da se je film Missing the Moment uvrstil v tekmovalni del Mednarodnega festivala študentske filmske in video produkcije Filofest 2012, ki se bo odvijal med 10. in 14. decembrom 2012 na Filozofski fakulteti v Ljubljani. Film Missing the Moment bo na sporedu v torek 11.12.2012 ob 11:20 uri (program). Leta 2010 je na tem istem festivalu slavil naš film Neskončni vozel, kjer je prejel nagrado za najboljši scenarij in najboljši film festivala. We are happy to announce that our film Missing the Moment was selected for the official selection of International student film and video festival Filofest 2012. The festival will take place between 10th and 14th of December 2012 on Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. Film Missing the Moment will be screened on Tuesday 11th of December 2012 at 11:20am (programe). Let us remind you that our film Neverending knot was very successful at this festival 2 years ago when it received the award for best screenplay and best film of the festival award. This year the festival is even bigger and better and again has nice accompanying programme. You can read more on the festival site or on the official Facebook page.

18th Medfilm Festival

Naša filma Missing the Moment (2012) in Last Lunch (2011) sta del slovenske retrospektive imenovane "slovenska izložba", v katero je uvrščenih 14 slovenskih filmov, na najstarejšem rimskem filmskem festivalu 18. MedFilm festival-u. Hkrati je kratki film Missing the Moment nominiran še za nagrado Methexis, ki se podeli za najboljši kratki film festivala. Medfilm festival predstavlja 40 držav, skupno bo na sporedu 86 filmov. Predstavitev slovenskih filmov v »večnem» mestu je omogočilo sodelovanje Slovenskega filmskega centra in Veleposlaništva RS Slovenije v Rimu. Our latest film Missing the Moment (2012) and Last Lunch (2011) were selected for the Slovenian retrospective at the 18th edition of the oldest Roman film festival Medfilm festival. The retrospective consist of 14  Slovenian films. Our short film Missing the Moment is also nominated for best short film (official competition) and is competing for the Methexis award. Medfilm festival includes films from 40 countries and there will be 86 film screened in total during the festival. The presentation of Slovenian films at the eternal city was made possible by cooperation of Slovenian film centre and the Slovenian embassy in Rome. 15. Festival slovenskega filma

Ponovno je za nami še ena edicija festivala slovenskega filma. Letošnji festivalski program, ki je letos prvič potekal kar štiri dni, so dopolnjevale tudi okrogle mize in predavanja, katerih smo se vestno udeleževali. Ogledali smo si tudi številne filme tekmovalnega in spremljevalnega programa.

Projekcija, ki smo jo vsi nestrpno čakali, je bila seveda projekcija našega novega igranega filma Missing the Moment. Film je bil na urnik uvrščen kot predfilm filmu Vaje v objemu, pod režijo Metoda Pevca. Vzdušje je bilo odlično in vsi smo nestrpno čakali, da se film začne. Na naše začudenje je teh deset minut minilo zelo hitro. Izkušnja gledanja tega filma na tako velikem platnu je bila skoraj malo nerealna zato nas je to še toliko bolj prevzelo in nam izkušnjo naredilo še prekratko. Po odjavni špici smo na odru predstavili ekipo, ki je soustvarila film. Po podatkih organizatorjev si je naš film Missing the Moment, ki je bil projiciran z DCP filmske kopije, ogledalo okoli 500 gledalcev.

Tudi tokrat smo Portorož zapustili polni novih poznanstev, izkušenj, znanja in lepih spominov. Ker fotografije povedo več kot besede, spodaj pripenjamo še nekaj trenutkov, ki jih je ujel fotoaparat.

Year is around and another edition of Slovenian film festival is over. This year festival lasted for four days and in addition, it hosted master classes given by various film industry professionals. Of course we attended as many master classes and film screenings as we could.

The screening that we were waiting for was, of course, the screening of our newest short fiction “Missing the moment”. Our film was screened before the feature “Vaje v objemu”. The atmosphere was magical and we were getting a little anxious. Watching our film on a giant screen from DCP format was a magical experience and it was over too soon. The screening attended about 500 people. After the screening it was time to introduce the film crew to the audience. We were very happy to see almost the complete crew joining us at festival.

We left festival site with a bunch of new experiences, knowledge, friendships and lovely memories. Because a picture tells more than a thousand words we are attaching some moments that were caught by our camera.

Missing the Moment at 15th FSF

Z veseljem sporočamo, da se je naš najnovešjši film Missing the Moment uvrstil v tekmovalni program 15. Festivala slovenskega filma. Film je bil izbran izmed 76 prijavljenih kratkih filmov. Letos festival ponuja novo glavno prizorišče - veliki portoroški avditorij, ki sprejme tudi do 1500 gledalcev. Na prizorišču, kjer bo tako otvoritev kot tudi zaključek in podelitev nagrad, je nas doletela čast da se bo film Missing the Moment, kot eden izmed redkih predvajal na posebno velikem platnu (16x9m), pod upamo da zvezdnatim nebom, v amfiteatru Portoroškega Avditorija in vse to v novi visokokvalitetni digitalni projekciji. To bo hkrati nasplošno naša prva DCP kopija filma (novodobni nadomestek filmskega traku v kinodvoranah). Projekcija bo v soboto 29.08.2012, ob 19.30 uri, kot že rečeno v Portoroškem Avditoriju. We are proud to announce that our newest film Missing the Moment was selected for the official competition at 15th Festival of Slovenian Film. From 76 short films that arrived at the festival it was selected as one of the few to be screened at the new festival venue which will also host the opening and rewards ceremony. This outdoor venue can except up to 1500 spectators and will have a big screen of 16x9 meters. All projections there will be in new digital projection technologies which also means this will be our first ever DCP (Digital Cinema Package). The screening will take place on Saturday the 29th of September 2012 at the Avditorij Portorož amphitheatre under clear sky full of stars.

Projekcija na prostem v Celju!

Za Film Factory filmski večer, ki bo potekal v okviru projekta Poletje v Celju, smo pripravili poseben izbor avtorskih filmov v produkciji Filmskega društva Film Factory. V enourni projekciji bodo projicirani naši večkrat nagrajeni filmi različnih dolžin, žanrov in tehnik, ki so primerni za vsak okus. Del programa bo tudi najnovejši kratki film Missing the moment, ki počasi že začenja svojo festivalsko pot. Projekciji bo sledil pogovor s filmsko ekipo in igralci, ki bodo z vami delili izkušnje iz različnih snemanj.

Project Poletje v Celju will as well host our film screening. We will screen few of our older and newer movies with different lengths, techniques and genres. Part of the program will be also our latest short film Missing the moment. There will be open discussion with cast and crew of different films after the screening.

Missing the Moment - Best Short Film

Odličen festivalski začetek za kratki film Missing the Moment.  Mednarodni študentski FilmFest (International Student FilmFest) je prvi festival na katerem je film sodeloval in prejel prvo nagrado. Festival je potekal v sredo, 30.03.2012 v kinu Udarnik v okviru Medijskega dne. V selekciji je bilo 30 kratkih filmov. Film Missing the Moment si je po mnenju žirije, ki so jo sestavljali Klemen Dvornik, Zoran Medved in Irena Bedrač, zaslužil naziv "Najbolši kratki igrani film festivala". What a great festival start for the short film Missing the Moment. International Student Filmfest is the first festival in which the film participated and already won its first award. The festival was held on wednesday, 30.03.2012 at the cinema Udarnik within Media day event. In selection was 30 short films. Jury, which consisted of Klemen Dvornik, Zoran Medved and Irena Bedrač, decided that Missing the Moment earns the title "The best short fiction film of the festival" .
